The VALOR bike is so much more than just another paint job. Mike has put hours and hours of thought and research into the backgrounds of each and every soldier who is portrayed on the bike. Because this has been such a meaningful project, we did quite a bit of filming to capture the emotion and meaning behind each mural.
I will update this thread with each new clip as they are edited
On the bench right now, Mike is working on a VERY SPECIAL project for Marc Fantich, a client from Texas. The HD Bagger is being transformed into an American tribute to Medal of Honor recipients.
There is a lot of research and history behind this project – and you can read much of it on our forums at LearnAirbrush.com -
Pete LeClaire’s “Winged Defender” came home from the Thunder in the Rockies Show with the prestigious title of BEST PAINT!! Judged against 99 other entrants, this beauty received the highest honor. BIG CONGRATULATIONS go to Pete and to Mike for the collaborative masterpiece.
Since the swirl bucket is out and just kinda sitting there in the middle of the shop, Mike decided to swirl up some other stuff, his newest toy was among the victims. I give you. . . Camo Swirl!!
Here is another painted Gun Stock. This was an old Chinese SKS Paratrooper that now looks modern and brand new! Mike continues to play with his camo patterns and the Soft Touch clear is fast becoming a favorite of gun owners who feel it.
Here is an example of some of the custom gun stocks that Mike has been making. He improves the comfort and versatility of the grip by changing its shape. The custom paint on this one is Mike’s new “Make My Day” Camo.

Since Mike only did the artwork, we do not have cleared images yet. But, we have been promised a batch of shiny photos once it has been cleared and buffed. Check it out:
