We are very proud to announce a new alliance with The Hockey Guild! Last week we were contacted by this organization that works very closely with our local media and The Avalanche. We will be working on several projects together, starting with The Quest for the Crown Event scheduled for May 1-3. Mike is painting a mask that will be part of a Charity Auction and we will have our trailer at the event for some “Live Action” opportunities.
Mike works closely with one of our local Harley Davidson Dealers: Sun Harley Davidson of Thornton. This is a quick project he did for them yesterday – artwork only.

Mike is on location the next few days working with Clint and the guys in the HD custom paint shop to finish up a full custom bagger. More on that his weekend!
This is another really cool project to come out of the shop, a custom painted Benelli Nova 12 gauge shot gun!! Mike used his trade mark 007 Camo girls all over this gun and it really looks amazing!!

The Benelli is made almost completely of composite, so Mike was able to paint most of the gun. 4 coasts of Alsa’s Soft Touch clear gives the weapon a really awesome rubberized finish that is extremely resistant to scratching.
This was Mike’s afternoon project. The owner of this new Honda Gold Wing was looking for a little something to dress up his dresser and make it a bit more “custom.” The pearl white and chrome color scheme was highlighted with silver and graphite pinstripe accents around the whole bike. A quick and easy customization!!
We just got Nick’s bagger boxed up and shipped, another Super Secret Charvel project is off to Corona and several other small projects have been completed and picked up. Time for the next round of work! Ha. Up now we have yet another bagger – a 2 tone with tribal graphics – an old school chopper, a Gold Wing in for a Pin Stripe job and Mike’s Mortal Sin Guitar ready for paint. Unfortunately we also have Pete LeClaire’s bike back in for repairs after an unfortunate incident during it’s recent photo shoot for Hot Bike magazine.

Bob’s Gold Wing is in to get dressed up with some pin stripe and scroll work:
Since we have really been working the local market, we have gotten the opportunity to go a WIDE VARIETY of projects, both small and large. In the recent months, Mike has done several Band Backdrops. These are quick and easy, and are a very bold statement and great addition to stage presence.
This past week was full of smaller, local jobs, quite a few coming in as a result of our participation in the Denver Motorcycle Show and Swap at the beginning of February. It is a refreshing change of pace to have little jobs to work on in between the full bike paints.
Nick’s bagger will be going home to him in the next few days and I will have some final images and the “movie” completed soon. We have an old school chopper on the bench up next, another bagger expected any day and a repair to Pete’s fairing and bag as well.
In addition to the custom paint work, our Custom Guitar business is really picking up, and Mike now has 6 builds in various stages of completion. Be sure to check out LearnGuitars.com if you like instruments and fine wood working.
Here are some images from a Goalie Mask that Mike just finished. Turned out pretty cool. Hockey is pretty big here in Colorado and we have another goalie customer coming up soon.
